DislikedWhy not just EMAs or MaCD?
Supertrend is just default MaCD or 12 and 26 EMA.Ignored
Dislikedsure, all indicators are really just taking the past data and displaying them in some form or another to help you visualize what has happened in the past.
So sure, I am sure really good systems can be developed with EMA and MACD
I personally like supertrend, but I also have used systems with non-lag moving averages, and also Trix
The one thing I do think is important is to use as few indicators as possible.

DislikedI've been looking at this on a simulator, and the SR indicator repaints.
It is based on William's fractals and it repaints the same way a fractal indicator repaints. It will be there, then disappear if the swing high/swing low does not end as a fractal.
If you're judging this by scrolling back and looking at past history, it will be deceptive. There will be entries that would have been taken in real time trading (both winners and losers) that will not be evident.Ignored
DislikedWell, as I said in post 33 the guy who developed the indi said that they do not repaint, but I certainly do not guarantee that.
People should certainly not mortgage their houses and bet everything on a system without forward testing.
I have had 10 winning trades in a row with this system, but I trade ONLY once a day, I ONLY shoot for 30 pips take profit, and I have a fair amount of chart time under my belt. I have made other systems work also.
I am not saying I am a good trader, but a good trader can make lots of systems work, and a poor trader...Ignored
DislikedThe S/R indicator repaints beyond a doubt.
I would get rid of it and change the rule to say:
Enter long on a break of the last swing high.
Enter short on a break of the last swing low.
(Keeping your trendmagic qualifiers)
You don't need any indicator for that.
You need to define your swings as a 3 candle pattern or a 5 candle pattern.Ignored

DislikedI can see some sense in what you are saying. Doing this makes the system more of price action. Can U however post a screen shot showing entry with latest latest swing h/l?Ignored

DislikedFractals work as designed, so repainting is not the right word here. A fractal appears two bars back, if current price action goes higher- lower(2 bars forward), the fractal disappears. It can happen, but not often. This indy should solve the problem.

DislikedEvery repainting indicator is designed to repaint, either knowingly or unknowingly. Otherwise it wouldn't repaint.
I believe fractal indicators can be considered as repainting. A fractal pattern is either a 3 bar pattern or a 5 bar pattern (as typically used). The common fractal indicator signals a fractal at the open of the 3rd bar (3 bar pattern) or 5th bar (5 bar pattern). If that bar completes and the pattern is intact, the marker remains. If the pattern is not intact at the close, the marker disappears.
That is a repaint, in my opinion. If...Ignored

Orange vertical line is 8:15am NY time
2 bars later it makes a swing low, 7 bars later (7 bars from the orange line) it makes a swing high, (blue dot above the swing high), then price comes down, takes out the low and goes on to make 54 pipsIgnored
