Hi fxpattern!

Ichimoku is probably the only indicator which I use and I find it absolutely brilliant!
I no longer use the exact rules that come with ichimoku, but have added and changed some of the rules to suit my style.
Each morning when I load up my trading platform, I go through all the pairs to look for potential setups on H4.
All you have to do is have a quick glance at the chart to know if there are any nice trade setups.
Although ichimoku is a wonderful trend following indicator, you will of course miss out on the start of the trend. This certainly isn't a problem as that's where most traders lose trying to pick market tops and bottoms.

I use ichimoku in conjunction with trendlines, S&R levels, pivot points and pice action.
I know I'm on the right side of the trend (for whichever timeframe I'm looking at) and use the above to sell at resistance in a down trend and buy at support in an up trend (high probability trades).

So that's how I trade ichimoku, not with the exact rules, but rules that suit my style.
