Given the past history of mismanagement , lack of trust and lack of credibility , how will the technocrats get the job done going forward when the political credibility is probably at an all time low?

I am not even going to touch on anti Euro/Germany/France/IMF/EU etc sentiment brewing at grassroots level.

The irony is that the wrong dog gets hit with the stick in this Greek tragedy.

If you ask the citizen in the street whether they like to have

a) a leg chopped of
b) an arm chopped of

dont even think of mentioning that option c) arm and a leg is the next choice if they don`t pick option a or option b

Going out to buy some beer.

I only have 7 beers left and if 6 of my friends visit tonight I would feel a little bit guilty if they have to share 1 beer

Watching doji`s on the tickchart waiting for something to happen is not on my wishlist today

Very true. Agree. It is a monumental task to make not only those structural economic changes but also shift the social attitude need it to make things work. I understand and see the potential solution for macroeconomics reform but definitively changing social habits is a beast on its own...
