There is strong buying on the DAX especially when the EUR weakens and when NY session opens. A couple of other traders on another thread on FF made it known that US Fund Managers are buying into the DAX.

Having said that, I just took 40 pips on the DAX.

Yes, completely agree with you on that. The thing is there might be some corrections kicking in also on daily basis and generally FOMC meeting on Wednsday is the DAY for both USD and EUR crosses. We will see what they will come up with , but there is a possibility that the price will whipsaw on EURUSD until then.

EURUSD has lost its bearish momentum in the first half of LO session, look at H4 candle.
This is the worst nightmare of trend traders. V shape reversal

I still think the US Fed Reserve Bank will still utilise the word "patience" with respect to the rate hike. USD has strengthened too quickly, and its causing US Equities to fall (as US multinational listed companies will report lower foreign earnings from a stronger USD). Just my two cents worth.

On the flipside, FOMC members back in Dec 2014 had indicated in the below paper that the longer term US Fed cash rate should be 3.75% (by 2017).

Yes it can be..if "patience" is still used then it could have again whipsaw effect on USD pairs. Notice how USDJPY has been bought into dips.If that happens and USDJPY doesnt break 122.00 mark up till then, FOMC dip could be used for further buying.

Im up for that. Got a short at 1.0550 which was stopped out for 40 pips, then I got 1.0610 short for some 30 pips. The price is trying to switch momentum on Daily chart ( possible railway/piercing line)
