Been trading for a couple years now, Can finally open a standard account but I don't want to transfer all my funds over.

I would love to leave the bucket shop dealer, but now that I know what to expect and most importantly, check over all my SL's to make sure there wasn't a convenient low liquidity spike, I am fine. And I don't feel like {or need} $1200 a month for bloomberg.

So after researching, I think the best fit for a standard account would be OandA for the 'customer service' {from what I hear} and the spread history actually looks good, during high liquidity times it seems to stay at .9-1.4 for Euro.

Before I open the account, any other experience with them or another broker worth trying out.

{In the United States so please don't link non-us brokers that I can't use, even though it would make this easier}

Ignored
Thanks, read through it but I was looking for 'up-to-date' reviews, and anyways, some people won't give an answer unless they are asked. So I am asking to hopefully get some of those individuals!

Fast execution rate.
0.9-1.3 spread on EUR/USD during London, London/NY sessions.
Avoid news trading.
During high volatility your stops/limits may be honored at a worse price. You can avoid that by enabling bounds. If your bounds are too restrictive your order may not be honored.
Their platform crashes during major movements in the market ( 200 pips in less than 2 h for e.g.).

I find it good for scalping during normal market times.
