Surprisingly FxPro has launched an ECN solution yesterday, called xTrader, can be found here https://www.fxpro.com/downloads/platforms/ecn

Also, just found there really interesting stuff on their site:

FxPro brings together Morgan Stanley International as its primary broker; Credit Suisse, Nomura, Commerzbank, BNP Paribas as its liquidity providers; and Currenex and xTrader as its software service partners to provide traders with access to an ECN with deep liquidity on more than 20 currency pairs.

I have NOT tried the real environment of the xTrader, even thou i am live client of theirs. I really hope its as good as it looks from 'outside'

I've done some reading on their website. So the leverage 1:1-1:100, spreads about 0.5-0.8 now on E/U, Min trade size 40k, min deposit 1k and they charge 30$ for 1 mil traded. Anyone opened a real on ECN with them yet?

$ 30 I would say that is too much. Alpari has charged $ 6.

Waiting for new about ProFx ECN.

30$ p/m per round is competitive even compared with Duka and MBT. Alpari with MT ecn is on 30 as well(not sure where 6 came from). Bear in mind Alpari with ECN MT4 has 300k min tradable size per ticket wheres FxPro xTrader is 40k. anyways its more about the platforms now

John i think you have gotten something wrong. If 30$ is for 1 mil then for 100 k it would be 3$. And it is a very good price imo. I'm observing the Demo and the spreads barely touched more than 1 pip. So for now, it look pretty good.

I'm thinking of opening an ECN acc with fxpro. I've been trading demo since yesterday, and up until now, everything seems fine. I like the platform. It lacks some functionality, but it has everything i need to trade. I've noticed only one weird thing - you are able to put S/L and T/P only when the order is created. Can't do it when creating. Not bad thou, minor inconvenience. The spread for eurusd didn't go more than 1 pip. It would be good to get some feedback if any of you have opened an account by now.

This is common because, in ECNs, it's impossible to know the execution price in advance.

Just asked them a couple of questions about the ECN account they are offering:

They do ask $30 commision for 1 Lot.

For the ones that are interested in hedging/scalping:

Hedging is not allowed, Scalping is.

Minimum ammount: $ 1000

Update: Made a huge mistake! They are not charging $30 ... but 30 EURO for one lot. That's 2 x $4.25 = $8.50

Yes :-) So $6 to open and close a position (100.000).

I personally like the platform (clean and simple), as well as the one click trading option. Till now the order processing is super fast.

Let's clear up something - 1lot = 100k. So, 30$ for 10 lots.

30 $ for 1 million $ per side

example : 100k GBP/USD would cost = 3 pounds in 3 pounds out = 6 pounds = 9.65$ total = nearly one pip .
