Hello fellow traders,

have you noticed that FxPro went ECN? Yesterday i poped into their website and - surprise! They offer to trade ECN with the xTrader platform. I have downloaded the xTrader Demo yesterday and its amazing! Would i dare to say that it's the best ECN platform? Yes i would Check it out https://www.fxpro.com/downloads/platforms/ecn

Hm. This is very interesting. I close my account with them, because they blocked my EA's. Seems like they dont' like how they worked. However, I was very happy with them. Will they offer MT4 ECN?
From the looks of it, mt4 is for MM and xTrader is for ECN. I haven't found anything about mt4 and ECN.

MT4 more for MM because of MT4 plugin?
I'm not sure what you mean by plugin. Some brokers like Alpari offer mt4 for ECN. I meant that FxPro offers only the new platform. As i played more with the platform, ok it doe's look really good and is pretty intuitive and easy to use. But it is lacking some things - like more items in the main menu and EA's
I'm happy that they didn't use MT4. At last something new to get the grip around. The platform isn't perfect but it doe's look promising.

Execution Venues

Execution venues are the entities within which the orders are placed or to which FxPro transmits orders for execution on behalf of a client. For the purposes of orders for the financial instruments provided by FxPro, we act as principal and not as agent on the client's behalf. Even though FxPro may transmit your orders for execution through its ECN platform to liquidity providers this is done in the name of FxPro and contractually the company is the counterparty to your trades. Therefore, FxPro is the sole execution venue for the execution of the client's orders.

That means that the order routes from one aggregated account to liquidity providers from the name of fxpro, meaning that i am not trading directly(through my own account at ecn) but via fxpros account that aggregates all clients trades. Even thou its transmitted to LPs, technically i am trading with fxpro, which does routing from its name, technicalities only i guess. Hope it was clear.

In a way the phrasing is messed and they need to change it not to confuse anyone.

As i understand it is how ECN works. In such way, they keep your identity hidden. I.E. you place a trade, but it gets excuted from their name. That is, you trade as FxPro.
