The second part, of course, insinuates that because of not trading the day before NFP, you will not blow up your account, and therefore be around in the future to trade more wisely.

Ok I understand you.

but the idea of not trading the day before NFP is because the market tends to get a bit flat so if you want to take a long weekend this would be a good time to do it.

To Mr Div. I applaud you on your efforts and willingness to help us all to move to the next level in trading. After a long time fighting a losing battle, I am finally seeing the light and slowly but surely learning to trade this method.

however that is only a hippopotamus so dont go making any decisions or trades based on this hippopotamus observe the action or lack of action for yourself then make up your own mind based on the all the information you've gathered.

Knowing the trend is most important when trading any method, but we must remember as one trader told me yrs ago "there will be trends within trends". For the E/$ at this time we are in an up trend.

Divergence, again thanks for sharing this most simple way of trading.

i had a software which i used in trading the news, on any usd news the software will recommend you to trade ej if it meet the trigger. from pass expirience if EU and GU move 70pips EJ might move +100pips. so if i understand you well trading EJ and EU,GU is of no difference.
nothing going on, gonna watch some paint dry instead.

I got that one on the EU and the GU. Didn't risk much but hey, pips = money in my account. Wasn't sure I wanted to based on more news but it looked juicy on both.

Had two small winners last night as well. No complaints for the end of a week.

My account grew. Have a great weekend and look forward to more next week.

Interesting how that move took it down to the 1.4050 area and now there may be some divergence forming. Just watching to see if I can learn something. Not tempted yet.

May just need to walk away totally for the week.
