Hello everyone.

I have this one simple indicator that's very useful to me. It's Moving Average Delta (mad) originally coded by Thomas Quester.

But unfortunately it doesn't have alert function.

So I was wondering if anyone can add an audible alert and if possible email alert too, to this indicator, when it reaches certain level say 100 or -100.

Here is the indicator. Thanks very much.

Hi,

I added the alert and email to the indicator.
please set the upperalert and loweralert inputs to the levels you want to get the alerts at. default is 2 and -2

However I need the audible alert to sound continuously, not just once.
I hope you can do something on this.

Hi Coders Guru , Can you make these indicator to have history of repainting or very time it up , draw line at open price and every time the arrow or X move from the original line of first on and to other candle have history of recalculating or repaint . Thanks in advamce .

Hello CodersGuru,

I looked at my MT4 directory and there was no terminal_dirsounds directory.

Do I have to create one?

It still made a single sound alert.

hey fx21..... from looking at the code it does not appear he understood your non stop alert request.....


the sounds folder should be in the metatrader folder.... the file name might differ slightly...... just peck around till you see alert wav files.....h
to trade and code, keep both simple... no call to impress....h

Hello Hayseed,

I have the 'alert.wav' in my Sound directory. I even made a new directory named Terminal_dirsounds with 'alert.wav' file in it.
Still it only made single sound alert.

May be you can help me or CodersGuru himself.

should email only once per bar...... must add, using email in forex is asking for trouble.....h
