From perigee of the Sun day 4 January to apogee 4 July = bearish.
From apogee of the Sun day 4 July to perigee 4 January = bullish.

This is 70 % of all years.

The planet ruler of the Gold is the Sun. Therefore, Lunar Eclipse is bullish for the gold, solar eclipse is bearish.

Here is a daily chart with longitudinal support/resistance. In gold the sun, in white the mean apogee.
Also solar and lunar eclipses are marked and retrograde motions of Mercury and venus.

The curved line on the bottom is the distance sun-earth.

Sun is in Capricorn right now, it will move into aquarius on Fri Jan 21.
What can we expect when Sun moves into aquarius?

But if you do not know anything about classical astrology I can not help.

Astrology is a symbolic reading of the chart. Astrology is not astronomy.

Therefore those programs for astrotrading are useless .

You have to study classical astrology.

The first and most important is to know which planets are beneficial and which are evil.

Example: Moon, Venus and Jupiter are beneficial. Mars, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu evil.

Moon and Venus are femenine.

Masculin are Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu, etc ...

Mars in some Greek schools was femenine, and also Ibn Ezra and I think so.
I do not follow the Index but I think Dow Jones starts a downward cycle from 13/01/2011 07:05 to 23/01/2011.

This chart is confusing.

The Moon is very weak and in opposition to Saturn.

I do not really know what will happen, but maybe ....from 12-jan-2011 11:30 GMT to 21-jan-2011 GBPUSD up a bit for about 24-36 hours after down.

But I'm not sure..

I think in the DJIA is easier to win going short from 13/01/2011 5:33:47 GMT to 23/01/2011.

So GBPUSD and GBPJPY from 12-jan-2011 11:30 GMT.
Bullish probably 65 %
Entry BUY
Stop loss 40 pip.

DJIA from 12-jan-2011 11:30 GMT
Bearish probably 72 %
Entry SELL

cut the chap some slack pip, according to my research:

1. All the patterns in the major stock indices have now completed, most notably the NYSE index which has made a perfect 0.618 retracement on the weekly charts over the past 21 months from its 2007 levels.
The volatility index (VIX) has continued to make new lows, indicating a strong sense of complacency among investors.

1. The number of new highs being set each day are not expanding but actually contracting.
2. The Bradley stock market model is pointing downwards. It has history of being right about 75% of the time.
1. Bullish consensus is at record high levels.
2. Newspapers like USA today are strongly recommending investors to buy stocks, usually a sign of a market top.
3. The S&P 500 has only been down on two consecutive days since November 29 which makes the current streak an outlier event.
4th Jan was a solar eclipse, also there are 3 main aspects present venus, Jupiter and uranus

so there is a good chance that this was the top as you have a pattern ratio and an astro event, astro event on their own fail so do patterns, together they work more often then they fail. All you can do is use them wisely with risk control and you will make money, a friend is selling the AUDUSD and he is already up 386 pips.

Money to be made if you know where to look for it.

Well, I am just trying to get an understanding on how astrology works.
I want to determine for myself if I should persue this or not.
I have been doing astronomy and find that there is missing information. Gann knew when what aspect was going to be active and when it wasn't.
I think that has to do with what planet was in what house at certain times.
However, I don't know if I want to get in to horary astrology because the temptation is that you are going to use it for all sorts of things besides trading and that may not always be good for you.
So, I just like an example, preferable US$ or EURUSD.

In my humble opinion:

Horary Astrology is good for predicting the news.

Mundane Astrology is good to predict the cycles.

Lunar revolutions are good for the monthly cycle.

Solar Revolutions for the quarters and years.

Horary Astrology is easier to study, but should be studied with a competent astrologer as Robert Zoller or Robert Hand.

Mundane Astrology is the most difficult.

First you have to study horary astrology for a few months time and when you are good at predicting further study nativities.
