Not sure about this. The point of Jacko's system is that it gives us an edge. Without an edge, we might as well place random longs and shorts. There is an element of risk but if you feel that opening a particular position is a gamble (or what some people call a punt) then you shouldn't trade it.
To keep it Jacko-related, if your first position fails, then you use the anti-hedge method and wait for a retrace. Otherwise, buy on retraces as it starts rising again.
