I trade from in my office and they just installed a firewall and I could no longer use any programs. I have been looking at some of the web based platforms but I can't seem to find one that has great charting. Anyone have any thoughts?
FX Sol can run through a proxy and interacts completely through HTTPS.

Meta Trader also can run over a proxy through HTTP or HTTPS.

I had the same problem at work and Metatrader didn't work at first.
But then I changed the connection settings to enable the proxy and voila. Works like a charm.

I'm so busted if they catch me....

Doesn't help me I can't change anything on the proxy server it's all on lockdown.

We aren't telling you to modify your proxy server. We're telling you to modify the MetaTrader settings to go THROUGH your proxy server.

If you don't know what your proxy server is, just check your connection settings in IE...if you're browsing the web right now, you CAN use MetaTrader...period. MetaTrader uses HTTP and HTTPS to get quotes and send orders.

And Canesfan, MrMirkal answered what I was going to say.
Just to to Tools - Options and Enable the Proxy server.
That should work.
