Laguerre filter?

I was doing some research into the work of John Ehlers and saw a mention of the Laguerre Filter (not the laguerreRSI or just plain laguerre). I found an indicator for MT4 but no information about how to use/interpret it. Can anyone tell me something about it?

Hi,

A standard use of the RSI Laguerre is to buy after the line crosses back over the 20% level and sell after the price crosses back down through the 80% level.

The Filter is used the same way, with the price crossing the the lagurre line instead of the 20/ 80 lines.
