Some people are shy about telling the forum about how much money they really make trading the markets. May be because they lose or may be it makes them blush when the tell others of the 1000's they make.

The reason I ask is to find out if it is really possible to make a good income ... or even a good living .... from home trading. Or whether its just fantasy .... for the dreamers.

I am one of those dreamers ... having no success making it reality. So does the dream come true for some of you individuals sitting at home .... staring at your computer monitor?



So a way of telling us how much money you make trading annually without actually revealing the figure is to quote it as a percentage relative to your income. Or just tell us the real amount.

For me personally a good percentage to make is 40% relative to my income .... but I'm actually in the minus (spreadbetting).
Its not an easy transition, you need to be emotionally prepared, exceptionally organized and disciplined...

Also look forward to having a complete mental meltdown at least once

same think here, I doubt that actually anybody makes money.... Almost everybody lose.... ANd it seems so easy to trade....

I think it does help. It tells me there that the possibility does actually exist. Tells me that there is a point to it all.
