Is it just me or does the forex market seem "dead" the last couple of months after the 100:1 leverage rule took effect?Ignored
DislikedYou can get more then 10% a week with 10-20:1 leverage... and that's just being conservative.Ignored
DislikedMonroe I highly doubt that you are profitable at all. Like your argument is that a bunch of people are undercapitalized and whining as I pointed out 90 percent of stock daytraders blow up their accounts as well will with far lower leverage. For the record I trade extremely low leverage and my broker has always been at 1:10. I use options to manage the risk for my clients however to actually generate and profit consistent profits which may consist of upfront expensive costs....Ignored

have very little faith in making 6 figures in the forex market which is an easily attainable goal.Ignored
DislikedVery deceitful to even suggest something stupid like "anybody can make easily 10% or more on a conservative strategy a week". That is just in its own a blunt lie, go and look up what conservative means.
Firstly why would anybody with the right mind even look at weekly gains trading Forex?...Ignored
DislikedYou completely miss-quoted and put words in my mouth. And who said I look at weekly gains? The guy said that he needed high leverage to amplify his gains because 10% a year won't do it for him, I said over 10% in a week is possible with less then 50:1. Did I say conservative or every week?
In the future I would like to help people here and give value instead of argue with the likes of these people, I don't know why I tend to get caught up with the back and forth's between such hopeless individuals, the people that cry about there brokers hunting...Ignored
DislikedThat's right. 50:1 leverage is sufficient. But you're still not getting it. It's about the freedom to make the choice. Just like you want to have the freedom to be able to trade, period. Some people want the freedom to choose higher leverage.
And who would want. ask for or need your help is beyond me.Ignored
DislikedI get it, I totally get it trust me... save that freedom crap for someone else, cause your a fool talking about that shit.
And believe it or not, I have been asked for help. I'm sure there are a lot of things are beyond your comprehension, trading most likely being one of them.
lol not sure why people are acting weird, messing with my words, attacking me, questioning my performance and trading... getting strange now.Ignored
DislikedIf you actually "got it" then you would have had a much better choice of words, so NO, you most assuredly DON'T "get it".
It is you that fails to comprehend the words that you read because you're to dull to consider another point of view besides your own. And yes, I find it hard to believe that someone would ask for your help.
And you're not sure why people are attacking you? Now that's really funny !! What do you call the post you just made? Is that your way of making pleasant conversation?
Finally, I think you're a very sad...Ignored
DislikedIs it really funny? I was attacked and then I defended, that was the reason for my last post. I didn't start any of that.
I don't fail to comprehend what I read, I fail to comprehend any sort of justifiable reasoning for using or needing 400:1 leverage. Ever since you got on this thread you were acting stupid with weak arguments with your soap selling business analogy to trading and leverage.
worthless.
Finally I don't care what you think of me, whose really the sad person here?Ignored

DislikedForex in its own is and will be never "conservative" as an investment / trading vehicle regardless of leverage level, time frame end of story.
So if you as super scalper make a possible 10% profit a week, then link your bloody live account to myfxbook for example and show everybody here on this thread your results.
Unbelievable, if you are happy to put your whole equity into one investment vehicle then that is your choice, but there are many others preferring to diversify, so to have a higher leverage is an option to do that.
To finish...Ignored
DislikedIf somebody really wants to destroy a thread it is enough to post how much he/she is making every day/week/year. If one could make 10% a week he must be somewhere on a yacht enjoying the weather and not typing useless posts on a forum.
2 big reasons why the leverage shouldn't be limited:
1) I don't like transfering all my money to the broker
2) There are traders who keep their position longer than a few days and, even they are profitable, the necessary leverage will be always calculated without taking them in consideration
So, even if...Ignored
