I never noticed any overt promotion of FL's trading services, but his posts are often so full of vulgarities & offensive sexual references, I put him on ignore. I found little value in his posts.
However, I do not agree with the rule that restricts people to the commercial section just because they operate some sort of trading service. As long as they contribute useful trading information without ever alluding to services or 'secret' indicatiors, I see no reason why they shouldn't be allowed access to all threads.
If they include links to their outside service in their posts, then yes, this would be grounds to keep them off the non-commercial threads. So if that is what FL did, then I agree with Twee's decision.
