I use the price chart both from OandA and Alpri, but it seems like lots of time in sunday the calpri price has a gap, but OAndA chart doesn't not show this, on OandA's chart the prices is always seamless transition from last friday's close to Sundays open.

Just like half hours ago, the Alpri price gap down trading at 1.34745 EU/US, from last friday's close price of 1.35007.
However, on OandA's chart, the price on last friday close is 1.35014, and open half hour ago at the same price of 1.35014.

Anyone know why's is that?

Oanda by default only records the middle price between bid/ask (on OHLC bars). MT4 on the other hand only records the ask price, which varies with the spread.

What do you mean by weekend trading? I thought all the broker start trading on Sunday, and stop trading in Friday afternoon.

You're able to open/close positions over the weekend with Oanda.
I'm with GFT and when the market closes on Friday I can't edit/close/open positions while the platform/GFT is close over the weekend.

I have never heard of marketing open during weekend except open on Sunday 22:00 GMT staring on Sydney session, which is two hour earlier than Tokyo trading session at 0:00 GMT Monday.

Is OandA open on Saturday too?

Yes. Oanda is open 24/7 which gives you a nice benefit from time to time.

This might be a good thing to trade in the weekend for these who have a day job.

How is the liquidity and movement Xaron, since it only traded between OandA clients, the market might be quiet during weekend without much volatility?

I might consider the OandA but it seem like they don't offer MT4. so you have to manually trade without EA.

On weekend there is almost no movement. The last two weekends it was about +/- 10 pips. The spread is 10 pips on the EUR/USD. So you can't "trade" intraday at the weekend but I like the possibility to close trades or change SL/TP even at weekends.

10 pips spread, that's another barrier for people to trade during the weekend.
