Hi , I would realy apreciate to know if an EA exists that will simply close a manual trade at the cross over of two moving averages. New to all this but is there anything out there??? Bless ya.. Pat

Thankyou very much for responding to my question. Iwas thinking my question was either not relative to the section I posted in or it was too insignificant.
The reason I was needing this is that I am in New Zealand and the market only starts to move when we retire for the evening which means I need to work thru the night waiting to get the most from a trade or set up a close at the cross of twa MA's. I think that would be my best solution?
I dont suppose you know how to alter an existing MA ?

I reccomend you use something along with the line of this to manage any open trades you have. Its quite comprehensive. If you really want me to I'll code a function to close on an MA cross but think carefully if that would really be the best strategy as opposed to the various options offered in the above program.
Thank you very much for the link. I have downloaded the EA which as you said is quite complex. I shall have a play with this on a domo account to see that i am able to get a handle on it.
At the same time I would really like to take you up on your offer to modify an existing MA system but only if its not too much of a pain to you. I have some ideas for this I would like to try out while at the same time being cautious with fixed stop loss at the entry area.

I will not be able to do it until some time next week as I have my University exams on at the moment. I will probably just modify the EA I linked you above to have a close on MA function. Post here or PM me to remind me if I forget.
