Vortex Alert

Would be great if some one could make me a sound alert for this vortex indi cross..

hey rebelheart..... what you have posted is actually the trade placing ea built for the vortex indicator.....

are you wanting the alert added to the ea, or the indicator....

let us know which..... if someone does not do it first, i will later this weekend......

Yes H they are similar in some respects, but I would rather have the vortex..

what periods do you use the vortex for?
do you think combining it with the adx might be efficient?

I'm a newbie to the FF forum but have read many threads on FF in the past and finally decided to set up an account after all :-)

I personally prefer the Vortex indi over the ADX as well.

Hayseed, the cross alert you created is very usefull, I use it on all my charts. Since I'm always looking for ways to improve my trading style, I believe an alert when one of the Vortex lines crosses a specific value of the indi would even be better!

I have an ADX indi with that functionality (I can post it if you like) which I like a lot, I just think it would be more usefull to have it on the Vortex.

Is this something you could add to the Vortex indi as well?

If possible, Can someone please add an email alert to this Vortex indicator.
It already has a standard alert that pops up in MT4. But would also like an email alert so i can receive notifications to my cell phone when i am away from the pc. Would gratefully appreciate it.

Hi dear, this indicator seems to have great potential. It would be good if someone programmed it this way to facilitate the operation.

Hello my Friends! I have been using the Vortex Indicator with very Good results in a different way. Whenever VI plus or VI minus is above 1.3 and below 0.7, I enter trade in the direction of the trend based on a 100 EMA. My question is how can I obtain or produce an alert when those parameters are reached? Timeframe H4 and D1. The logic is that somewhere in the future both VI Will cross.
