Anyone having trouble with FXCM Micro?

It prompted me to install updates on sunday and I did and it just crashes when opening up. I uninstalled and reinstalled and even deleted registry links. Have done this 4 times but same result..Tia

I also updated this Sunday-thankfully(for me anyways)no problem at all. I noticed the Charts were heavily featured on the update and I dont use(or open) TradeStation2 Charts. My platform is fine. Contact their tech dept through their email link?

Yep I did and followed instructions they gave did the regedit thing and deleted link in registry and uninstalled and reinstalled but same thing, program just crashes before starting

We've seen some problems with the update on computers using older versions of Windows XP/Windows 2003 server and Sun VM on Macs. The majority of traders should not have problems. Unfortunately, you probably fall into the group having problems. Something in the chart plugin may be incompatible with the Windows setup you are using, and we are investigating this. In the meantime, you will need to use the previous version of the FX Trading Station II.

I have included additional instructions below which will let you avoid the update and use the older version of the trading station.

1. Go through the uninstall instructions including the registry edit you received from customer support previously.

2. Install previous version of FXTS2 from:

http://www.fxcorporate.com/FXTS2Install_111209.EXE

*****!!!!!After installation (it’s important), do not try to login!!!!**** Otherwise it will try to update to the new version.

Instead follow these steps:

*****!!!!If you are uncertain or uncomfortable doing the following in your registry, do not proceed, and instead ask me for help or call customer support!!!!!*****

1. Click Start. Choose Run. Type command- regedit - and press Enter key(it will launch Registry Editor)

2. Registry Editor had a tree structure like Windows, find a click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARECandleWorksFXTS2

3. On the right-hand side you will see 5 icons. Right-click on the Version icon and select Modify

4. Change Value Data to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARECandleWorksFXTS2Version = 01.07.012810 and click OK

5. Close Registry Editor after that.

6. Launch FX Trading Station II and login.
