The following trades were taken today:
8/5/07 - AUDJPY Long @ 99.12; SL @ 98.65; TP1 @ 99.52; TP2 @ 100.42
8/5/07 - AUDUSD Long @ 0.8252; SL @ 0.8212; TP1 @ 0.8282; TP2 @ 0.8382
Also, a short trade in EURAUD was also triggered but I wasn't comfortable with it so I let it slide. Entry price was around 1.6480 (currently at 1.6395
).

G'day Cool,
I have so much going on that it's getting harder to do daily updates. For this reason, I will only post a summary of my weekly trades.
Also, I'm going to try something a little different from this current week onwards. I will no longer exit partial positions. Too often I fail to get the maximum benefit from a trade that moves in my favour, only to retrace. Unfortunately, this means that my RRR will be on the low side, at best 1:1. This is not ideal at all. However, I will test it and see how it eventuates.
I know this goes against the whole "let the profits run" philosophy, but until I can mentally sustain larger SL's, the only thing running will be me when I bag a small profit!
This week has been an OK week thus far:
14/5/07 - EURUSD Long @ 1.3541; SL @ 1.3502; TP @ 1.3581
Result: TP hit @ 1.3581 (+40)
15/5/07 - USDCAD Short @ 1.1062; SL @ 1.1095; TP @ 1.1042
Result: TP hit @ 1.1042 (+20)
15/5/07 - CHFJPY Long @ 98.86; SL @ 98.50; TP @ 99.06
Result: TP hit @ 99.06 (+20)
15/5/07 - AUDNZD Short @ 1.1284; SL @ 1.1320; TP @ 1.1244
Result: Trade was moved to BE @ +30 then exited, for unknown reasons. Checking the hourly charts I see my SL moved to BE but thereafter 1.1284 was never breached. I have taken this up with IBFX as I believe an error was made.
17/5/07 - USDJPY Long @ 120.81; SL @ 120.50; TP @ 121.21
Result: I watched this trade go +ve then -ve then +ve again and chose to exit @ 121.10 (+29)
In amongst all these there were quite a few trades I didn't take as I didn't like their "upside" potential. On some I was correct and on a couple I was not. That's the nature of this business.

P.S. Thinking a little bit more on how to not have a "sucky" RRR, I may employ the same strategy used to calculate the SL, ie. ATR based TP.
