Do you GBP/JPY ?

Does anyone of you fellow traders trade GB news or JP news on that pair ?
It offers great chances since it is much more volatile than cable but, of course it is much more risky.

Question

Does anyone has made experience trading that particular pair and can give information ?

In the case of me who live in Japan, I watch Forex Factory and Reuters news while hearing NHK radio. When I buy GBP/JPY, I usually place limited orders more than 2 yen below a current price because we cannot know British careful news instantly in Japan.

Currently it is the pair I'm focusing on, as I gave up on the USD pairs becuase of too many breakout fakeouts. I love gbp/jpy. few break/fakes, huge daily range, and very responsive to news. I would consider this pair a medium in terms of skill level needed to trade this pair. you have to really accept big losses, but know that if you have a good system, you will have big gains. Something to mention, you should pay attention to the pair even during important news events for the USD. It most definitely reacts to NFP, and other red alert news reports like CPI,PPI. Pay close attention on those days. Maybe nothing happens, maybe a reversal because of the US report
