DislikedThe damn thing trades now. I am not going to 'fess up the the idiocy of the bug that was stopping it.Ignored
DislikedYes, it sure does trade. I have it set to only trade EurUsd and it has opened 8 trades within a 2 hour period. Is that what you intended?Ignored
DislikedSteve,
In the example of the latest swing forming a swing high fractal of the higher timeframe being indicative of long trend, how does the bot treat the condition where price then moves below the previous swing low?
It appears that long trades could still be triggered based on the higher timeframe fractal high while price has taken out the previous higher timeframe fractal low. Couldn't this then indicate a possible reversal?Ignored
Looking at the code, I am fairly sure the robot will not close the trades after the swing high.
I suggest everyone refrains from bothering with this robot until I have sorted out the basics.
It all seemed so simple a few days ago. hey ho.
DislikedOnce I have the bot loaded on the chart, I cannot access the bot's properties window without removing the bot and reloading it.Ignored
DislikedCan Scooby (or any other resident BOJ expert?) confirm if that JPY buying spike on friday was a BOJ intervention? I've read through the thread and the pdf and just wanted to confirm if that's the kind of thing you're talking about, and using the EA for. If it was, does anyone have a feel for how frequently these interventions are happening?
cheers

DislikedSteve,
At the moment the bot has 41 open trades and the bot is attempting to open opposite trades on some pairs without closing their open trades first.
I'm running demo on IBFX, so it won't allow the opposite orders.Ignored
Dislikedhi Steve,
i'm testing the latest Swing bot: trades are taken and seem to work fine but i've got a stange "all open trades" closed when one of them meet condition to close:
3 trades taken: 1st one rise profit and meet close condition, its ok
2d & 3rd was quite to their opened price, so dont need to be closed, but was into the same second.Ignored
