I have not done much testing with this EA yet, so I do apologise if this is a stupid comment (yes i have read your advice at post 1)
I have done some backtesting on this, I know it does not mean much but I know that originally Ash's system focuses on closing half the order and letting the other half run.
However, when running this in backtest, I havn't seen one occasion where this happens in the EA's favour. Lets say for example:
the bot closes half the position for 500 profit, then the EA hits s/l a few days later and closes for 10pips profit of 50. This seems to be a familiar occurence and I havn't found a time where leaving half the position open in the 'trend' creates more profit.
What do you think? Do you think it would be more profitable to turn off the Partial trade and just close the full trade at the next bar?
