I've had good luck just trading the 5M chart. Made +25K of funny money already this week. Thanks for bringing this indicator to our attention.
I never knew that we could trade lower time frames with ichi but I have learned that we can do it with precision if we follow the rules. I am trying to show some discipline by being patient and waiting for a cross after it leaves the kumo-meaning not taking it early. What can happen is we can end up in consolidation.

Here is a reason we need to watch higher time frames. If one did watch, you would have known what your target tp was and when to bail out with lots of pips!

chart 1 shows a cross and of course the higher time frame to see the kumo resistance on 4 hr.

Glad to see you doing your homework as usual. And thanks for the advice to seek knowledge in this thread. The other thread which I will not name was definitely subjective with secrets. It's refreshing to have a group like this with Vic at the helm to guide us through the clouds of ichi to clearer pipping skies so to speak.....I have rated this thread as you requested and will be participating more often.

Glad you came aboard! My pips have turned very green here. If you take only the strong signals-you will have no fear. I am going to be away for all of next week so I hope you post a lot of charts and ask questions.

Be careful of samer-he will take the pips from your mt4. Vic and I have taped the seams of our computers to save our capital!

One thing I like is that we point out what is setting up. I'm glad I am not spending hours trying to watch 12 pairs only to miss something-all done with a system that well......you know what I mean. lol

I am going to concentrate on eur/jpy although the other traders have been pumping the pips from other pairs.

while the master is sleeping dreaming about ................, i entered this long a few hours ago on 30 min chart . i know this is not the perfect example cause the cross is inside the clouds , but i find it strong after the breakout of the cloud and the 2 lines where sliding up together
forgive me vic for this example witch is not 100 rules
live trade , im closing it cause we are near support on 4 h chart ., ah this is rules higher time frame vic will be happy here .

Well, you know to be cautious and you evaluated the trade and traded your plan. Great job!!

By the way, I just watched a nice 25 pip long on eur/jpy. I wasn't trading it but I thought it was good for about 7 more based on another time frame. It has reversed already but would have given me my daily dose of pips!
This system is great because I could see what I needed to see.

Great work there Samer. I tried to unwind my hedge in the middle of this rally and it turned out to be an absolute disaster. Staring into the abyss with unrealised losses up to 66% of the account....that's about $2200 for me....argh my own fault really, the problem started a few days ago when I was tired trading (and not using Ichimoku, I should clarify, that if I actually followed Ichimoku properly I would NOT have found myself in this mess!).

Anyway, you said you entered LONG when the 30M signal came through. What would you consider to be an appropriate SL for that moment, especially when you were under the cloud formation?

as you can see in the chart i didnt enter at the cross , the cross was jst a hint , my entry was after the breakout was confirmed . when i entered i put my stop loss at the swing low , and after i move it to the lower line of the cloud ( i sent u a pm )

which pair, am looking at ur lovely GJ and can't see this , any way you can always go with the 1Hr cross till the resistance of the daily ( the cross ) , also the daily cross is very weak
tell me which pair i do the Art and forecast it for you

P.S if you'd like to see a good up move , you can always ask samer to buy some GBP and i can assure you he will move the market , he just came from his private island and i think he wants to work and make some moves hehehehehehe
