mtf gann

can anyone show me how to call the mtf gann? I'm doing it as follows:
double gann=iCustom(NULL,0,"#MTF_ ###Gann_HiLo_Activator_v2###",1440,3,PRICE_CLOSE);

1440 = daily timeframe
3 = gann hi/lo value

The function only returns a 0.
anybody?

Are you passing other parameters in the same order as its external variables? That might "sometimes" be important...

figured it out, lol, been trying to 2 days, as soon as I post, got it. I needed to indicate which buffer I'm trying to read from, so I needed to add a 0 after the 3 as indicated below and I got the correct answer

double gann=iCustom(NULL,0,"#MTF_ ###Gann_HiLo_Activator_v2###",1440, 3,0,PRICE_CLOSE);

you still have a error, remove the price_close at the end and put a 0
that last space is reserved for the bar on the chart, not a price

to make your own gann indy, its just ma high, and ma low, if a bar opens above the high, wel draw the lower ma only, if price opens below the low, wel draw the upper ma only
