indicator taking up cpu resources???

hi all,

can anyone show me how to see if a indicator is taking up cpu resources??? thus, also making the trading platform slow. thanks

load the indicator during a visual backtest or during live trading times. key

CTRL + ALT + DEL to open up task manager look at "Processes" and "Performance" tabs to see if there's any spiking of CPU and MEM usage from which process, if its your metatrader client, unload the indicator and see if the spike is gone. compare it like that and you'll be able to derive some judgement.
