SL for gold moved to 933.00 to lock in 6$ profit.
I am very unhappy today. I missed that E/U trade. And crude oil hit 73 from 70. That also missed. I have to sit with the little profit on gold now.
Stopped out on gold as well. So, all trades closed. Going to sleep. Need to work out a better plan tomorrow.
Crude oil sold at 71.86.
SL at 72.25.

I am trailing it tightly with 25 pip trailing stop loss
Crude oil stopped out for +50 pips.
E/U is currently at the 50 fib. So a good short at 1.3960.
SL and RP at 1.4010.

In the chart below, perfect selling point is the upper trendline. This 50 fib sell is just to bag in some profits.

My 50 fib is the same as yours. However, I'm selling EU at 1.4000 - if it gets there. If it doesn't I'll consider selling at 1.3975.

EDIT: Still not in. It got as high as 3990 then dropped to a low of 3905. Then bounced off the upper line of the triangle that it was forming the past few days. That was the second time it has done that in the last 8 hours. This analysis is off the 4H by the way. It's currently at 3957. I'll find out soon enough if I missed this one or whether my patience, faith and stubbornness pays off.
OK, now I took partial profits in E/U on 1.3897 and have only 1 lot left open and moved its stop to break even. So, +63 pips booked and +63 pips running.

Why didn't you sell at 1.3975 then? You were certainly above that 50 fib. Maybe that triangle is what you are talking about.
But this sell should not be giving much pips. I will be eying the upper trendline for better sell.

I ended up selling a half position at 3960 after missing the opportunity to sell at 3975. I then later sold another half at 4000 when the opportunity presented itself. The two combined positions totaled one full position I would normally take. I logged both trades in Jacko's thread when I entered. I closed both trades yesterday with the 3960 netting 43 profits and the 4000 entry gaining 84.
I do not trade USD/JPY much. But this time it is on a daily 50 fib. And major point to note here is there is a "pin bar" formation. Almost like a 'no brainer'.

USD/JPY short at 96.73
SL and RP at 97.25.
U/J Taken half position as profit and SL moved to breakeven. Already +50 pips.

I'm out of the market today. I just didn't make the time, particularly since it's Friday and I have some stuff I need to take care of. I had my charts opened until about 9:00 NY time then closed them and only opened them back about 20- minutes ago 12:30 NY time.

Thanks Ricky. Looks like we have common picks, similar entries, similar exits.
This week, I am setting pending order for gold to sell at 936.00 with targets of 916 and lower, where it is likely to bounce back.

I am happy to see that crude oil's order is already executed at 70.00. I am targeting 66.00. Lets see how it does.

The thoughts for Eur/Usd is also bearish. I am targeting 1.3750.

And in Soybeans futures, I have sell position triggered at 1195. I am targeting 1050 at least.

Thus, at the moment, I am very optimistic about downtrend in almost all items.
Ok, I have moved stop for crude oil at 67.75, locking in +225 pips. My gold's order wasn't executed. Badluck on that one. I also moved the stop of E/U to 1.3860 locking in +100 pips. So far so good.
I have just woke up and I see that crude oil is on 66.43. Wow, +357 pips. I now take partial profits and have locked in +300 pips at 67.00.

I didn't get the email. I looked at junk folders as well. I didn't see any. Why don't you PM me, or just ask in this thread?

Oil and gold are very much similar like currencies. Similar principles work on them as well. I am not sure what exactly are you focusing your question on.
