Upcoming MetaTrader5 with MQL5

MetaQuotes planning to release MT5 this year (but not sure whether MT4 brokers will switch to it this year also or not)

But i heard EAs/custom Indicators/Scripts for MT4 will no longer works with MT5

I wonder does anyone here have any "leaking" information about the language used in MQL5?
why can't they make it backward compatible? T_T

MQL5 I hear is going to be partially backwards-compatible. I say partially because it will almost never be a perfect fit.

It just means I'll be up all night overhauling my EAs in the conversion effort.

LOL yea i know,
for us programmer it will be tough to convert EAs/custom Scripts/Indicators since we'll need to test it allover again (the result of back-test and forward-test might be different after convertion)
