Hi XuX
A while ago we discussed about the idea of having a MinEntryATR to filter through low volume periods. I've been backtesting M1 this weekend and these types of trades were very common. Notice the 3*ATR(20) value. In all the -ve trades this value was less than 10. May be it could work if we have a MinEntryATR filter.
Second thought I'd like to discuss with you is possibility of having to choose when to start using Martingale. Currently, it goes off of the very next trade. Is it possible we could choose a trade to start using it. eg X is current trade and its -ve, Martingale(progression 2) comes in action on very next trade X+1, and it goes -ve too. So, X,X+1 are negetive. Can we avoid using Martingale on X+1, and rather choose to use on X+N where we can define N.
Reason why I am saying it is sometimes, there is a cycle of losers that come along, and martingale with its usual progression keep increasing it.
Do you think its going to be a good idea?
Currently working on an updated version of M5 and M15..stay tuned guys!
Cheers
