Most people reading the forums here at FF will lose money. Hopefully they will come to their senses and quit forex. When they finally make that correct decision, they will discover that life will be much better - not worrying about surprise events like the Swiss National Bank, losing money.

I think that most traders lose money because of high leverage, most of them act as trading is pure gambling.
As for the Swiss National Bank that's something that will accrue once in 10 years, but I see your point there.

Why would you quit ? As the popular saying goes Forex is very daring and comes altogether with high risk, but even though Forex involves making decisions that are risky if you learn to assess the risk , learn to manage your own risk level you will not do badly.
