CHFJPY /GBPCHF ideas

two important support resistance areas to watch right now,

GBPCHF support at 1.25278 resistance at 1.28737

recommend closing the trade if resistance is broken

allmost a double bottom kind of formation now where price bouncing of the support,

possibly addon if support is breached

What's up with the EA? I'll post my statement below from a demo. It seldom opened trades, but when it did, it closed them out very quickly for losses. The EA was run with all default settings, 50 profit and 200 loss. Nothing else changed.

EDIT: It's the latest version.

So is anyone actually trading the FX correlations on live?

if so what pairs and timeframes and what kind of results are you getting?

I am currently live on GBPUSD v EURUSD 15m

I use financially adjusted lots so that have same value per pip and I then adjust them again to account for volatility, to explain:

I trade GBPUSD with say 1.0 lot, the lot size of the next pair is adjusted to up or down from 1.0 lot to ensure that they have the same value per pip. (in this case that is also 1.0 lot because they are both xxxUSD pairs).

I then adjust the second pair lot size again according to volatility, I use ATR to measure 1st ATR / 2nd ATR = adjustment ratio. This is all automated and therefore self adapting according to recent volatility at time of trade.

My results on demo have been very good on 15m timeframes but more erratic on other timeframes.

I only enter/exit at the end of a bar no SL or TP involved.

I have been running on live with gbpusd v eurusd with good results so far.

Im trading live.
I get very good result on GBPCHF/CHFJPY
on my last two trades,
I only use the pairs that are going exactly in the oposite direction,
GBPCHF and CHFJPY are allmost like a mirror to eachother,
another good one is EURUSD/USDDKK,
USDDKK having a killer spread
but thats not going to make a lot of difference with the amounts of pips this strategy generates,
another good two pairs I use is AUDUSD/USDCAD,
also very good result with them,
the idea behind only using mirror pairs is that
I know Im not going to be caught in a situation where both pairs
for some wierd correlation missconfiguring in the market are moving in the same direction.

Yup,

Start at page 100 and read until you get to your post. Might sound like a smarta$$ answer, but it's not the same for everyone and everyone has ideas on how to make it work better / safer / etc. Lots of good ideas and suggestions and weaknesses pointed out in those pages.

Maybe a stupid question.

Does anyone have a profitable strategy on how to trade correlation with the Overlay indicator or any other correlation indicator?

If there's anything in here please point me to the right post.

Thanks!
