Yes, the canadian employment change and empl. rate is one of the bigget news to CAD.
I try to catch it, but the LCG (broker) change the margin req. from 300:1 to 50:1 and the SL out level is 50%, so we need to calculate with the new terms.
In addition, nobody know what will happen today or at the weekend in the EU summit, so I will be wise, conservative and I don't hold the position(s) in the weekend.

well done on your results. Is this just with news trading? What's your thought process about entering a trade before the news, do you simply buy or sell with set sl/tp? I've always been a bit cautious news trading but I understand the risk reward element is what makes this a winner.

Appreciate any help with this method,
News trading is new to me. I just did back testing for today's news. I saw that Market reacted in the exact minute. I used the M1 chart. I did not find the news given in this thread. I just checked the Market reaction to the below news.

AUD - 12:30 am Westpac Consumer Sentiment
AUD - 1:30 am New Motor Vehicle Sales m/m
JPY - 3:18 am Monetary Policy Statement
JPY - 6:32 am BOJ Press Conference
EUR - 6:45am French CPI m/m

I noticed that the market always followed the trend as directed by TDI & Stoch Indicator. So instead of blindly choosing the direction we can choose the same direction as Traders dynamic index indicator.

well done tony, i placed a buy stop order at 1.2810 got filled at 1.2846 .... huge slippage.

the way i trade the news i place buy stop / sell stop orders away 20 pips from the price before the news.

Very dangerous what you do, these are your enemies:

-Slippage
-High spread (depending on broker) *if not high spread, BIGGER Slippage then!
-Whipsaws

If the price whipsawed today you would have been in a big trouble.

Would you agree that it is the same (Slippage, High spread, Whipsaws) for the stop loss if I entered 1 minute before the news?

Suppose today I entered short before the news and stopp loss was 1.2810. Would the stop loss have same issues you mentioned?

The rate cutting was not only a rumor, nice catch tony, nice. I can't open new position, because I had usd/jpy long at that time. So I need to skip it. Let's see the nzd tonight .

With my broker, spread payment will be half since you entered before. Slippage is not an issue with my broker, I get no slippage or very little.
Your stop-loss would have been respected.

Hi All,

we waiting for NZD rate cut tonight, from 3.25 to 3.00%, so the NZD will be "weaker" than now.
All the NZD pairs in great trend and the ratecutting make theese trend stronger, like gbp/nzd, nzd/usd etc.
I hope all we can earn some money tonight, good luck to all!

Looking at the profit chart im wondering why te big losses. According to this system you should have small losses and big wins.. or your not exclusive central banks method?
