Possible to Combine Indicators in MQ4?

for example: applying a MA to RSI? - Its easy manually - just toss a RSI up then put a MA on it and use the 1st indicators data for input - Can you do this in MQ4?

yes, it is easy.

create the rsi window as you normally would. Then drag and drop the moving average indicator in the same window, set the apply to "previous indicators data" and whatever period and method you want and you are set.

You would need to use iMAOnArray() for that.

I think there is an RSI one:

double iRSIOnArray( double array[], int total, int period, int shift)

Thnx RR - Just saw the MA on array. Glad thats what I need - MQ needs to make it possible to do the combo in code with any indi since you can do it manually so easy.

...and you could also edit template .tpl files directly too
