Nice touch trade from the inter-day session.

Nice trade. If the recent low holds there is potential for a longer term buy here imho.

I don't see why QE3 will assist while it had failed in the last two times.

The only people this helps are bankers. In fact, this has been a great theft from the people right out in the open.......just that the people have been mentally dulled enough now that they don't recognize it.

This one is tempting.....but gonna pass. Already short AUD/CHF.

I saw this one. To be honest, I think that we will break above that level sooner or later......far too much working against the USD at the moment.

If it wasn't for the weekend, it would have been nice trying to hold it.

While I don't disagree (a failed pin would be a great signal) its the AUD 'in general' that had me interested.
On the AUD Futures chart 1.05 looks like the make or break level. Its bounce or breakout time. Either way there is a trade being offered here somewhere.
We can clearly see the higher lows on the weekly which could/would favour an upside breakout....as uncomfortable as I 'feel' about it...
Time will tell.....as usual....

Yep. You can't trade off of what should be anymore these days. It's why I don't do anything more than just following order flow. I made a shortie play on the Aussie last night to where we are for a small counter. Though I would be very surprised to see us drop below 0428 (H4) level. If that happens, then we can be looking at long term shorts again. Provided the H4 can drag the daily with it, of course...

Yep.......

I don't "like" it either, but the market does whatever erratic thing it wants to.

Agreed. Personally I do not like the AUD fundamentally at the moment. I re-entered short AUD/CHF at Bar6 (pin bar). Today closed below the recent swing low (depending on your feed). This looks pretty bearish. A solid close below 0.97 and we could see a deeper push to the downside. This pair has a ship load of room available to the downside.

Aussie H&S, filled at the right shoulder, a little bit of slippage by about 10 pips or so. Am going to let this one go for a while... There is now a supply zone to protect the order... which means, order flow is down now. Because of QE though, will monitor for a shift in momentum. Could just end up being a turd.

Amazing.........looks like we are trying to push higher now. Sooner or later, this overvalued Euro really starts to hurt the EU.

Yeah, the jerks could at least give us a chance to buy in as well.

Of Course... USD Weekly... Trend is up... Weekly, that is... We just now got back to weekly demand... usually this is a buy signal. (For US$). I don't have a futures account, sorry, can't show with pretty chart. However, this is good for at least a small bounce, and it is starting... HL so far... but it's only Wednesday.

http://finviz.com/futures_charts.ashx?t=DX&p=w1

Now the question, QE or not to affect prices? I have to buy when in demand, irrelevant of fundies (no point to a system if I let the nonsense affect it), so i'll be looking for shorts on the euro. Risk will take care of the rest. Now we just got to pay attention to momentum shift, or demand consumption.

Also USDX in monthly demand. The only thing I don't like so much is it's 2nd time at the daily demand so can't rule out one more deeper dip back into it again.

If we fail to make a higher high here I will be looking to sell. This recent High is also at the 38% fib if you buy into that business. Also lines up with a mid September 2011 support level (has been traded through since to be fair though).
So with the USD in an area to possibly bounce the EUR by rights should roll back over....in theory of course....

We'll see. In the mean time, I am leaving the damn Euro alone.
