Hi I am new to this system and I think after reading several pages of this forum I want to use this system but the problem that I am having is I can't seem to find all of those files on the first page of the forum that is being recommended. Is there a way to search for the post number instead of having to click on every page individual until I get there? Also I have a question for JonnyPip. what is the average stop loss size for these positions that you use?
Ignored
Hi Mab,

Yes if you scroll to the top of the page it should say on the left "options" and underneath "go to page" and "go to post".

If you type the number of the post as outlined by Phil it will take you straight there

In regards to stop loss size, it can range from 30 pips to over 100 pips. It is all about the trade at the time and different currencies require different size stops. There is a very good piece on stop losses in this thread - essentially the key is to make sure you only risk x amount of your account on any given trade, whether it is 30 pips or 100 pips, you ensure you risk the same % amount of your account each trade. It is generally recommended 2% max however some risk more and many others, including pro traders will risk less.

CADJPY going to touch 365? Have a look, how you read state there?

Hi Gabryus,

This is what I see on CadJpy.

The chart shows an important principle, when you see the MA's close together it means the price is RANGING not trending.

When this happens you need to find your support and resistance levels.

When they are drawn on you can see we have just bounced from the bottom trend line giving us support. We are below the 89 sma indicating we are looking for sell opportunities. However as you can see we are above the 21ema currently.

We need to break below the 21ema and pullback to have a sell opportunity, however if we do that we would be trading straight into the support trend line which is very risky.

So for this currency pair at the moment the safe trades would be, break above the 89sma, pullback to the 89 and 21 ma's before moving higher OR break the lower trend line, pullback to trend line/21 ema and head lower.

Hope this gives you an idea of how you can try and anticipate the market and then trade IF it plays out as you anticipate it.

Ok interesting reading from you. Thanks hope one day to be able to exchange at the same level!!

Question for you: during analysis of situation, of course, everyone move from H4 to H1 and so on till M1... now as all have seen if you want to keep real references on the other time to H4 you have to draw a line or some fix object. Now my question is, the MA and all trend indicator lines, have no sense cause "designed" for the H4 or have sense but nothing to do with the meaning of other time frames?
If they have sense and you observe divergence can this give you some tips?

TOPIC: POSITION MANAGEMENT
This is a very versed trading Strategy! Position management is trading in itself. A trader may have a very nice strategy and knows how to apply it correctly, but will have problems in either the short or long run of his trading career due to the lack of the ability to manage position well.

Position management has to be the focus of a good trader once he/she has executed a trade! This topic has to do with how a trader manages his executed trades such that at the end of a transaction, whether his result was a win or loss it will not break his heart or account...when the outcome of your transaction always breaks your heart it means that your confidence is under high level attack and if this is not checked it will come to a point that a trader begins to loose confidence in his tested and trusted strategy. The effect of this is that; a trader will see a very nice signal and will be afraid to (pull the trigger) take it...THE MAJOR OR ROOT CAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM IS WRONG EXPOSITION OF A TRADERS ACCOUNT IN AN EXECUTED TRADE....IN OTHER WORD, WRONG STOPLOSS SETTING.
It is for this reason I have posted the trade that I took yesterday above. From my analysis, I was very comfortable with the trade when I took it on the 1hr chart. The stoploss is $400 dollars standard account, and I reduced it to just $40 dollars. I shared this $40 into two positions...I took the first 50% at $21 dollars profit and then adjusted stoploss into some pips profit assuming it turns against me...then I left the remaining trade to run. My initial intention was to allow it into next week...I later adjusted my stoploss to $17 dollars profit and left the position or trade to play out long term....THE POINT I AM TRYING TO MAKE IS THAT, A TRADER IS MORE COMFORTABLE AND TRADES WITHOUT FEAR OR EMOTION WHEN YOU ARE USING THE RIGHT RISK FOR TRADING AND IS VERY BOLD TO ALLOW TRADES TO RUN IN THE LONGER TERM FOR MORE PROFITS.
I AM MAJORLY POSTING THIS BRIEF ARTICLE FOR THE NEW ONES...EVEN AS YOU BEGIN TO ENJOY THIS THE SYSTEM WE USE HERE, PLEASE NEVER BE CARRIED AWAY AND BEGIN TO USE BIG RISKS DUE TO THE URGE TO MAKE BIG MONEY.

SUMMARY:

  1. 1% or 2% of capital for a given trade
  2. 1 trade at a time
  3. 2 trades at a time, but risk is to be shared into 2 equal halves to accommodate the two postions
  4. Avoid jumping around pairs for now as you may be easily thrown off balance or sync due to unexpected behavior of a certain pair. Be FOCUSED!
  5. Never forget the POWER OF COMPOUNDING! Therefore always take partial profit and allow the 2nd position to run if there is still potential for further moves. The initial or partial profit you take few hours or minutes after executing a trade puts you in a sweet mind to withstand sudden attack or behavior of price that may come against your expectation...
  6. Remember this is a 4hr system therefore you should not always be in front of you computer looking for trades. Even Scalpers are disciplined with time....

Just to mention this few.
God bless and Happy trading to all!

Yeah!
Don't really trade this pair; but just opened it now do do some analysis on it.
No trade for me for now...price is squashed in between those trend lines...

Hoping for some direction after some shaking off.

I should start by saying a very big THANK YOU. You have really put a lot of time into developing this awesome system; I am very grateful.

I don't know if I am asking too much, but the "bookmarks" you gave on page 1 are all out of sync. I am not able to find the referenced materials. Could you please update them or provide a link from where I can download all at once.

Thanks once again.

Hey Nausting,

Yeah EurAud trade was stopped out unfortunately, these things happen

First loss this week I took it on the outside 4h candle but didn't get any follow through.

EurGbp is looking nice, possible chance to add on pullback to 21ema. Good potential opportunity for further moves down towards the .7600 level

Nice UsdJpy trade as well, I was waiting for that for over a week! Paying off nicely now though. Patience is key.

Same with GBPCHF, hammered through the target I posted previously, really nice move (I hope someone caught it with me!)

Loads of potential trades forming, next week should be an awesome one! Will post charts as trade setups complete.

Won't wait till Monday for this one though. 1st light blue line @ 1.5600 could be a problem but it should eventually break through here.

My setups entered on Friday and this morning.

Red lines = SL
Green lines = Entry
Light blue lines = TP targets

Lots of correlated pairs, but risk spread between them.

It's a bit hectic at the office so I could only post them now, all of the trades have been triggered.

TP1 reached on AUDJPY. EURGBP is a real struggle, might be a failed trade. EURAUD halfway to TP1, the other have not moved much.

Market Rhythm with respect to the emas and the smas just simply has to do with the price movement rules around the emas and smas as Phillip Nel has explained it...that is just the way I use it...but the full Market Rhythm Analysis goes beyond what price only does around the moving averages...Phillip as well added trend line analysis in the full MARKET RHYTHM ANALYSIS...feel just very free to contact again if there is something you still need...thanks bro and God bless.
