I took this TC on EUR/USD @ 20.00hrs.
Entry: 1.4655
SL: 1.4600
TP: 1.4700

I was also watching that same setup. The only reason I did not get involved is the 89sma in its way as price is inbetween the 200sma and the 89sma and the short trendline I had drawn. But the momentum look good for a break to above the 89sma and that trendline unless the 89sma prove to strong resistance.

Is it ok to wait for a move away from 89 with macd confirmation? For example if the macd now gives a red bar (short signal) would you consider taking it?

It might work out OK but I like the round top to be a nice smooth one. When the price is inbetween the 89 and 200 it tends to zig zag there untill it gets direction again. So I wont wait for a red bar on the MACD if I wanted to take the odds on that the price is going to bounce from the 89sma and also that TL can be strong resistance. For a small stoploss of 20-30 pips the odds can be taken on. But that is just taking the odds on according to the 4H market rhythm that when price is inbetween the 89 and 200 it might zig zag between them. The picture I include is how I want a round top and or bottom to look like before I will get involved. Then it also needs to form from support or resistance. I think that is a safer way.

I have decide to take the ZBreak on the GbpUsd for a move towards the 89sma. The price moved nicely to +50 pips. I decided to set TP at +25 after +50 was reached. Price retraced sharply and TP was hit.

why nobody seems trading EU and UJ .. they had nice TC .. EU made nice TC on daily and moved over 100 pips ..

i took ZB on UJ yesterday and made 39 and 50 pips..

missed the EU TC ..

For me current situation on EU is not easy to trade,
On EU I wait to comeback to 89 / 21 and maybe then I find good opportunity to entry.

Well done. I seen the TC on Euro but expected the 89SMA to provided more resistance so didn't get involved. The Yen isn't one I normally trade, but yeah, ZB moving away from 21EMA, 50pips SL, nice. The Tails on the daily might have concerned me.

Thx for all you guys posting your comments ... is really valuable ... am still learning, have migrated from demo to live a month or so ago and see (but miss) many good trades... got locked in a break even spell the last week or two... get stopped out and enter too late or early .. eish...

Am busy going through the lessons again just to freshen up. Phillip said somewhere it takes a few month to digest all the stuff and although I am spending a lot of time on it, it seems to be true enough

after weekend opening it has ran 250+ pips north .. it's due to some correction now ..

I see on the MACD setting that you used in the previous example that you are using the 5:13:1 setting and not the 10:22:1. Any specific reason??

For me a definate No-No. I have found that whenever I did counter trend round top/bottom trades they didn't work out. With only one bearish 4H candle in the Ozzie RT it did not look a good idea to me. Especially with them raising interest rates. I am sure Phillip did mention that you need to look at price action and not just trade the every MACD signal. Appolgies if this is mentioned in the MP3 from the other day. Have not had a chance to listen to it yet.As usuall IMHO only.

I am short on Cable from yesterday. Its more a swing trade based on elliot wave. However, there has been 4H tails and resistance at the 21ema again. That 1200 (GMT+1) Candle might have been a chance to get on board with the 4H. My stop is 30 Pips above 21 at the moment. TP below 1.5760 to complete 5th Wave.
