Best MA to put over a MACD on 4 hr and Daily Charts???

Traders,
What do you feel are the best moving averages to place over a MACD on 4 hour and Daily Charts to provide a simi acurate cross?

89 EMA and 233 EMA to gauge the 4H trend.

Each pair has its own movement, its own evolution. To speak generally about MAs and MACD it's wrong (from my point of view). I think each pair should have its own setup.

If you are thinking of GBPUSD I would suggest a 5,13,8 MACD with a 12 period Smoothed MA over it, you will find support and resistance when MACD bars hit the Moving Average and enter the market when MACD bars break the MA
