This topic is very close to me, it's good that I came across it. I also try to trade at the beginning of the construction of MA, if I missed this moment, then I look for an entry point on M5 on a rollback on M30. Always according to the trend. Is there such an indicator as UT-Fast? Take a closer look at it, as a filter to the main system you can consider it.

Hi for all i start test this strategy today just use 5% Risk per trade SL=TP 300 pips and D1 Timeframe,

green candle=buy
red candle=sell

So quite some traders promised trading log from last weeks trading. I have received nothing. Please if you had a bad trading week, it will be of value for me to get the results anyway.

Your CCI windows are very compressed. Open them wider manually or press Ctrl A.

Trading on the LTF based on the traffic light on the HTF is simply amazing.

I found a wonderful indicator today. The crosses seemed to be a bit early, but using a couple of confluencers, it would be a very nice system to predict a change in the trend.

So I traded it manually. Did not believe my eyes at first. Crosses came, but turning my head away they had disappeared again. Then sudently the cross came, and stayed put. A nice big one, but the problem was, that the cross was placed 4 bars back. Like if it happened 4 bars ago.

Damned - I should be enough grown up to recognice a repainting system. I wasted most of the day on this.

There are people that still think that repainting is OK. So I made this screen. Put on the same indicator with the repainting on and off. It is the TMA that is the problem in this robot - one of the worst repainters.

So on the chart you have the TMA repainting indicator at the bottom. The middle is the same indicator without TMA. So the midle graph is the correct one. This graph shows the exact cross overs. The bottom graph showes the repainted graph. It looks perfect, but it is lying. The crosses is set after the real crosses appeared and not at the right places. You will not experience these nice signals when you use it.

Take a look at the yellow lines. That is the repainted (false) crosses. Se how they do not correspond to the actual crosses at all.

I have had this burning interest in trading for many years, using hours each and every day. I have tried a lot different things. Many strategies. Many tools. Many interesting people. I have found my recipe. It is not complete and there are several other ways to trade. This is just my way.

It can be said very short:
Make your market. Trade it.

By this I mean the market the next coming trading day. Nothing more.

Yes, I mean it. MAKE YOUR MARKET FOR TOMORROW. We all know that the kind of market we have is important to our trading strategy. And the normal saying is, that we have to get the best out of the market we have. Hence people make strategies that can fit any kind of market or they trade only in certain circumstances. My take is: Make the market for tomorrows trading.

So how do we make the market?

Step 1: We search all instruments we possible can. Forex, Metals, Comodities, Indicies etc. Identify nicely trending instruments on HTF. I use Daily and H4.

Step 2: Make a list of those best trending instruments. See? In stead of always trade the Cable or any other pair - you trade the most trending instrument that exist right now. The list is normally long and you need to narrow it to maybe a couple of instruments.

Step 3: Analyse the instruments on your list. Is there any good setups that surely will give a nice day tomorrow? It is not enough that the instrument has been trending nicely for a week. You must have a reason to believe, that the instrument will continue to trend next day. Maybe even boost. Describe the setup. Write it down. This way you make yourself think a bit more and furthermore you have the analysis to check at the end of the next day if you were right in the prediction. Now you can learn and become better. Finally you have identified a trending market for the next day!!!

I use a lot of tools to find the trending instruments with the setups that promise a nice day tomorrow. Some people are afraid of many indicators. Well - if all indicators agree, then you have a setup. If one indicator disagree, then find another instrument. You can filter some of the bad days this way.

Step 4: The trading. Go to LTF. I use mostly M15. Use indicators to hand the trades to you. I like CCI, MACD and SuperTrend. But hey, you are in a trending market - nearly any indicators will work here. A simple MACross tool will do.


Now you need to have tools ready for:

1. Risk Management
2. Minimize the Losses
3. Maximize the winnings

But that is another story.
