Hello, Miss Pips--

I hope you'll forgive me if this has already been asked....

I notice the Traders Dynamic Index (TDI) at the bottom of your screen. I am keenly interested in both THV and the Synergy trading method which uses the TDI, and was surprised to see the TDI being used by such an experienced THV user as yourself!

Could you elaborate a bit as to how you use the TDI in the context of trading THV?

Well if you look at the places where the red and green line cross, you'll see that they are very close to the trix crosses (the trix is just a bit smoother) But the TDI has the bollinger type bands on, which I've never figured out how to get on the trix. So I use the TDI as a kind of proxy for the trix, and I look for when it squeeses above 68 or below 32 as a proxy for a squeeze on the trix. I also use it to confirm divergence - which is safer when confirmed by more than one indicator.

I was thinking along the same lines, and will be experimenting with a combined THV/TDI approach (with a dash of Bemac rainbow for good measure).

More Sunday Trading .... NOT for the inexperienced..(maybe only the stupid >>>> Tread). I'll move to breakeven +1 and let it ride.


Edit #1 .... Took the profit and closed, Double Top forming...better safe than broke!!

Just a question,

what is the greater number lof losing trades in a row you guys ve had? Not intersted in winners.( pretty sure thv creates enough of them) Just want to know what to be careful of.

I'm not sure which charts you are talking about, but if its the indicator by stratman then in the options menu go down until you see symbol01, symbol02, etc. In the timeframe underneath the symbols specify the times you want. M15, M30, H1, etc. That should do it. Also make sure you set the autoscale to true.

price broke the triangle which was a good signal to long. There is a wedge that was recently broken. I didn't trade underneath it. And it is all how you look at the charts.
