Hey all. Nice to back!

Two good entries today on EU 1 minute. Both entries valid, with a fair distance from potential support lines. Both also well within Andrew's Pitchfork on M15 analysis chart and away from other resistance/support. Previous volume information also suggested a strong trend developing for both trades.

Congrats, beautiful

Is there any instruction manual for your template?

Been trying out the MTF for a while but seems less people use the MTF now a days.

Any advise?

Sure happy to. The instruction manual is the same that Miss Pips used. I only enter when I get six lights (when all the trixes on the 1, 5, and 15 are the same), the MTF Cloud indicator is red or green accordingly, and the rainbow is moving in the correct direction. So, for example, if the trixes were all red, I would like to the see the rainbow garnishing the Yellow/Orange/Red colours, like in my previous screenshot. I also have an Ichimoku going, but its just there for testing purposes at the moment.

The volume indicator ("Volumes Enhanced_v2" - purposefully made for the SonicR System), is an extra indicator I use. It simply gives me a little more confidence on trades. I like to see a greater degree of volume when making a trade prior to entry, especially if volume changes to a stronger colour, indicating more volume in the direction of the trend, and as a result, a decent trade in that direction. I've copied and pasted the details of the colours from the SonicR instruction manual regarding the volume indicator below (I've also changed the colours around from the original settings to suit the white background):

Here is a instruction that how you can read the NVO indicator :
First of all, the normalized values are now expressed in percentage of the average value for a period. Accordingly, the data on the chart can now take negative values, too. This will mean some lull on the market.
Another useful innovation is coloring histogram bars according to the normalized volume size.
- Green color means that the current volume is less than the average one for this period.
- Orange color means a small exceeding in volume as compared to the average one for this...

If you do intend to use the Volumes Indicator, or any other volume measuring indi, be sure to know how to use them first. Theres a host of information on the Internet on how to use Volumes correctly and in multiple ways, so I'd look on how to use them effectively first. I've found volumes to be quite useful indeed in my limited trading experience, but its different for everyone.

Ultimately, the most important thing about this system is to understand general trading dynamics - the system probably won't work so well without that. It does take a long time to learn, and I'm still trying to get the hang of it! Understanding S/R points, Higher/Lows etc., volumes, fibs, Price Action (the hardest to learn IMO!) and so forth is a lot to take in. I've not even started properly trading yet... just getting to grips with it. To be honest, the more screen time the better you'll perform in my opinion.

I've attached the two files necessary for the Volumes Enhanced indi and the template I use to this post (which is originally Miss Pips, so its thanks to her!). Naturally, you'll need the other indies for the rainbow, THV, etc. I'm happy to include these too if anyone wants them.

Enjoy!

Heres a great example of Volumes by the way. As you can see from the screenshot below, the volumes have steadily decreased as indicated by the red line. Equally, price has stopped moving higher as a result. If, hypothetically, in this particular example, all trixes were green, but volume was still low like it currently is,then I would be hesitant to trade as a result. Unless I saw a spike in volume, I would be reluctant to enter the market.

Naturally, price could just go any way at anytime and volumes are ultimately just a lagging indicator like the rest. However, it can provide useful hints to the current health of a trend, as well as providing a useful indication to when the trend may reassert itself in any given direction. Again though, useful basic trading techniques should accompany volume.

Yup I saw that movement too and did nothing as it never fulfilled the basic rules.

Never knew there were advanced rules.

Thanks for sharing.

Do post more Toranaga when your free, much appreciated

Guys, there is no kind of "advanced" THV setup, only classic THV /by Cobra/ and MTF THV trading by MissPips.Thats all.Very simple.
Toranaga,in normal conditions, this entry could be explained as a rebound from the strong level, but we know that this is PA during the NFP and everything that happens in the technical sense is the result of pure coincidence.

I spend hunderts of hours watching THV M1
and found (for me) other profitable setups
so that are my 'advanced' rules.

And, go short above the Coral is also mentioned by Cobra in the manual, so..

It's a good short according to the advanced 6 lights rules for 1 minute divergence trades because you have 6 points - two of which are from the 1m fast and the 5m fast and four of which are from the divergence itself (which counts for 4 points) on the 1m and you are below the cloud on the 1m .

Incredible 20+ pips Long with 5min divergence on a lazy Monday UK Bank Holiday.

I received a couple of messages regarding the template I use and its indicators, so I thought I'd just be easier to attach them to this post rather than sifting through this lengthy thread. All the indies below are required to create the Rainbow template that was devised by Miss Pips, so offer thanks in her direction!

I also thought it might be helpful to elaborate quickly on S/R points that aren't necessarily generated by pivot indicators. Remember that drawing S/R points over larger (or even shorter) timeframes can be quite profitable and save you from some bad trades. I draw 'historical' S/R points over areas where price has stopped/stumbled. In the example below, price had considerable difficulty breaking through this support and almost did at one point. But when it eventually broke through, it created a strong down trend. Theres loads of useful websites for basic trading advice like this online. BabyPips is great for that sort of thing.

More necessary indies after this post.

Pigeon.
