Hello everyone,

i am trying to install the THV4 but when i run the exe file included i get an error. Could you please upload all the indicator along with the template for the system THV4 so as to install it manually? It seems to be a nice system.

Thank you

Hi all,

I'm new to this system, just started to try it out.
Made a couple successful trades on the M5 TF.

I was wondering if anyone is using this system in other TFs, if so, did you made any change to it?

I'm not sure I have it all right, I'll be glad to hear your comments.

I'm still not sure what to do when I hear the overbought/oversold alert!

Thanks,

Baffa

Where are all the veterans that trade this system ? Are they still trading it ?
Look at something long enough, you will eventually get it.

Still trading, just kind of bored with the thread because hardly anybody ever posts posts about trading anymore, just mostly posts with questions that have already been answered so many millions of times in the thread that even I've gotten tired of answering them.

Hey Miss pips, I really enjoyed all the charts you posted. Although I do not trade the rainbow. But your chart posting really helped me to appreciate where my entries and exits should be. You've done a great thing here .

Dear Miss Pips,

Hope to be posting soon as well, but this may take a while. Found your Swiss Army Histo indy in goldsurfer's anti-symphonie thread "The Semafor Repaints Method" - http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=352153 . It may be I've wanted one of those things with the bars at the bottom for a while now, and one with an auditory alert when all systems are "Go" seemed too much to hope for. Was not so impressed with symphonie method because I saw a trade that guy made that I know he didn't, and the symphonie version of the thing with the bars at the bottom is pretty indicator-intensive. Really, your programming skills are impressive. Now if I can figure out what all that stuff means.

Today have been all over the internet trying to figure out how to use the Swiss Army indicator and almost bought an older version at MetaTrader Search. Then was able to crack the FF search code Swiss Army-wise and have now located your post where you explain the indy, and can make no sense of it at all.

Will have to start at the beginning of the thread and hope to incorporate THV into my current system, which has had some degree of stability in terms of changing the system lately, also some degree of regularity in profit, a first for me after 4 years of experimenting.

It is necessary that my trading system be as completely mindless as possible (hence the auditory alert) because that's the type of person I am, and am particularly inept when it comes to forex. But on the other hand it definitely takes a lot to make me tired of forex, so what I lack in Kamikazi trading ability will hopefully be made up for in dogged dedication when I start live trading... soon.

Looking forward to seeing your charts. Actually I am not a good programmer. Real programmers who see my code usually fall on the floor laughing.

The SAH works like this. For each of the four rows you have a eperiod field and a eperiodtype field. In the eperiod field you select the timeframe you want to see. You can enter an absolute value (1, 5, 15, 30 etc) or relative value (-1,-2,-3-4 etc.). For example if you are on the 1m chart you can enter 5 to see the 5 min timeframe. Or you can enter -1 which will show you the 5 timeframe (1 timeframe up) on the one minute chart and the 15 min timeframe if you switch the base chart to 5 minutes (1 timeframe up from 5 minutes is 15 minutes.)

The etypes have codes which each represent one indicator. These are explained individually since each indicator works differently but in general red is the short value (for example for eperiodtype 1 which is the fast trix it is red when the fast trix is red and green when the fast trix is green). Or for type 16, which is a stochastic, it is red when the stochastic is pointing up and green when it is pointing down.

You can get alarms on any combination of rows. The way you do this is to include or exclude the row in the alarm score by setting CountE1-CountE4 to true or false, and selecting the appropriate score. For example if you want an alarm on all the rows, you set all the CountE1-CountE4 to true and set maxscore to 4. If you only want an alarm on the first row you set Count E1 to true and the others to false. You set maxscore to 1.

The difference between the versions is just new features or indicator types. The indicator versions are not configured to represent any particular trade recommendations - you have to do that for yourself.

P.s I hope you don't mean 'bought' literally. It really pisses Cobra off when somebody sells the THV indicators.

Hey peeps

My first chart posting on FF.

I'll admit I'm new to FX and today is the first day that I document my entries instead of just entering and exiting. Trying to take responsibility of each of my thread.

If anyone is free, please do feel free to comment on my chart. I would love to hear your feedback. Thank you!!

Entry: Long @ 1.31388 (First Purple Line)
Exit: 1.3144 (Second Purple Line)
Pips: 5.2pips

TF: 5min
Entry reason: 6 lights, above coral and touch cloud
Exit reason: I really don't understand where the trade wants to go, it is like a snail not knowing where to go

Hi, I'm no expert on this system, but as I understood it shouldn't you enter long after a bar closes above the cloud?

In this case shouldn't you enter on the bar that you exited?
The trix are both green and above zero and above the coral line.

All the rules are met on your exit bar. That's how I'm seeing it, but I might be wrong.

Hope to hear from more experienced traders on this system.

Thanks

Baffa

Hi Baffa

Thanks for your comments.

I'm following the instructions in the THV MTF manual which states:

1 Trade when you get 6 green or 6 red lights total out of all Trix histo

2 Two of the lights have to be in the first two rows (m1 and m5)

3 Take the trade as soon as PA touches below/above the cloud (don't wait for a close below or above)

Hope the instructions are still valid till today.

Hi ahniel,

I was thinking in diferent rules!!!(THV rules)

I was revviwing that PDF (THV MTF manual), and rule n3 ins't : Take the trade as soon as PA touches below/above the coral (not cloud)

Does this means to take the trade when PA crosses coral line?
