Good morning, afternoon, evening wherever you may be in the world.
I've never really thought of using a journal on FF before.
Since I don't post that often I never felt the need.
However with so many threads now I decided to put all my trades in one place purely for good housekeeping.
This will be a record of all trades I take going forward for as long as I have an interest to do it.

As per the title I use a combination of swing and position trading.
Initially I start out looking for a short term move to capitalize on.
Sometimes they turn into longer trades spanning weeks or even months.
Either way I always scale out should the trade go in my favour.
Leaving a portion on allows me to benefit from an extended move should it materialize.

Analysis is from the monthly & weekly.
My entries are taken off the daily TF @ end of day (10.00pm UK time)

Currently I have no open trades.

Even I plan to position trade but with a lot of risk management and a few market indicators like the range indicator, COT data, fundamental indicators, Strong weak analysis. I am not a good trader, but I will definitely try to stay disciplined and follow my trade plan.

This is a perfcet fibonacci retracement setup . Do you use fibonacci ?

Sometimes, just to frame a trade. Self fulfilling prophecy so to speak.
I rely far more on the basic ICT concepts and just watch how price reacts.
All my key levels are known in advance.

A retrace Mon/Tues to above 1.07 would be my ideal scenario.

Euro/USD broke and closed above the Xmas week 2023 high.
DXY did not do the same to its corresponding low.

On the daily charts Euro retested this level from beneath, while DXY rejected its level from above for a 2nd time.
