Strategy needs some adjusting during sideways market times... i will wait for major trendline break from now on once i know there is a sideways market... right now looks like there is a flag forming in an uptrend which indicates that the market will continue to go up so hopefully this buy trade will be the end of the sideways market

market shot up to close to 50 pips then retraced a little at a major resistance trendline around a whole number 1.9700, so i came out at the following:

i just changed it

lot1: +50pips
moved stop loss to breakeven for lots2 and 3

moved target for lot2 to 1.9673, due to a major support trendline within 5pips

lot2: +70pips
moved stop loss on lot3 to 1.9693 (lock in +50pips)

lot3: +50pips

ooo head wasn't straight on this trade

i moved the stop loss to break even after it went +40pips into profit

I watched it get to +48pips profit and for some reason i didnt come out like i usually do thinking it would just continue and hit +50pips and lock in my lot1 since it was like 2pm and the market usually never sees reversals around that time. But it did and ended up at break even.. oh well at least i didnt lose anything

oh and after this happened it bounced RIGHT off the 38 fib. support line

Great call on this trade! How long do you think it'll stay up? I went short at 196.98. In your opinion, do you think it'll hit my target of 196.38 by tomorrow's open? Thanks for your thoughts.

I actually moved my stop loss to break even on this trade since it just bounced off a strong resistance trend line and it recently broke a longterm support trend line, so it should be in a minor down trend.

I think yuou have the right idea by going short where you did, Big P, most signs are showing short. Should give u a good run.. but u never know, every moment in the market is unique!
