The price fell from one line to the next. I only need a couple of these a day.

Can't get myself into a position now, will wait for 8:30, thinking GDP will come out strong, will fade it after a 50 point move if USD positive as market should revert in anticipation for some fed statement with int rate decision.

Daily range has been pretty significant already so perhaps a fade is due regardless of direction, it is pinpointing the level to do it at which may pose the most difficulty.

Don't think we should have a range expansion to downside more than 30-40 pips at least prior to int rate statement - that would put us at 165-175 pips for the day.

To the upside - I have no idea where to fade as of yet, but my initial area would be in the 9600 - 9615 level. Data would really have to come out miserable to get us there though, especially if price remains at current levels.

The other problem is that if price does reach those levels, do I really want to fade it or wait it out to perhaps buy a pullback?

For now I will only fade a breakdown at 8:30 if level is hit. The other option just seems too risky.

Well, looks like another package of USD-positive news is to come, although those good packages have shown no big effect lately...

I'm still long at 9530 and will place SL according to price activity at news vicinity. breaking 9480 may be a good place to short it down the hole.

But we're sitting in a apparent good support now to risk leaving my position and lose a potential rush upwards if news fails to move 30 pips down...

I have 1 lot sell on 1.9540 that i set take profit on 1.9440...

I don't want to make some kind of crazy statement here, but if ADP, GDP, PMI, and Int rate statement come out USD positive - we will hit 9400 today - for a 234 pip range day..

It's kind of neat how the price bounces off of support and resistance and seems to hit the 50% fib each time.

I was hoping the price to be at the 9550s prior to the news.... Now I may skip ... don't know yet...

This is good, I'm starting to get an idea of how people may be thinking - A fade of $ positive release will be my optimal setup with a target above 9550, the most likely far off stop placement for $ positive release. If we have a quick move into the 9400's I will set up an initial long there 9495 before news time in case $ positive news comes out.

GBPJPY in tandem with USDJPY during this last 15 min reposition. EURUSD made 16 pips UP.

I hate when GBPJPY is that active.... If news don't push USD up, we may see a crazy market going on here, on GBPYen speculation...
I'm out at b/e gonna look for better place...

not mad anymore...
