Checkz,

The original KoF Strategy uses EMA's for both Strategies... Most people from Page 1 are used to the EMA's but I have found over the last few months the LWMA works better for me, and YOU can adjust or leave alone as the 1% Strategy is based off the 200 MA Line (style is up to YOU), you may see the EMA better or not... All Trading Systems must be tailored to your EYES and not mine, sorry dude, individuality rules trading systems...

gringo I think there is a possibility it will return to the ema 200 but then again in a strong trend.. the Heikin Ashi candles will just turn back to red and continue falling down.

Please download and try for a week, I do know all Markets return to the 200 MA Line (Style and Candles are irrelevant as the Market has no TF / Styles / Candles) but the real question is - when? Which no one knows. I have just screen printed two trading examples that have proven my version of a Trading System.

gringo I have never tried this new system by you... but have been familiar with similar templates... and yes you are 100% correct when you say the price will eventually return to the 200 ema. Its a definate yes it will no doubts to that. But just like you have rightly said the question is when. I think from page 1 of the forum right the way to page 720 everybody has tried this and the answer is does the strategy work?... well yes it does. I can almost asure you everybodies problem isn't if the strategy works or not. The main concern is when it doesn't work. does this strategy have a high winrate I can confirm yes it does.... I've practiced it for 1 whole year and I can go for days sometimes without a lost... market ranges 75% of the time. If it ranges then we will almost certainly win as that means price is going away from the ema's and returning often. But my biggest question to you is how do you handle the loss?

Ok you've been wining for days or even a week as market has just been in a ranging state..... but imagine now you are buying to return to the ema 200... you buy it falls, you buy again it falls and the market strongly trends down. What do you do?... do you keep adding and hope it reverses soon?.. if not when do you stop adding positions?... or do you keep on buying until it blows your account?.. in a situation like this.... what will you do gringo?

I have done both solutions and if you go back weeks ago, I screen-printed the dreaded Drawdown Wall for days just to show how I tackled the Wall with Patience.
Most Traders do NOT have enough balance (Money) in their Live Accounts to trade more than 5 entries on the Tuff Trend as this will blow their account BUT KoF has always said over 4 years now, practice on a demo / micro account until you master the tuff trend situation and when you go live, you will need 1000 usd to cover these situations. The lower TFs allow more losses but small loss value (Money) than a higher TF. So, again each Trader is different and has a different Risk Appetite.

so how did you tackle it in the end?... you just continued to trade one way until it went in your favour by adding more and more positions?... or did you close at a loss?

Both, at the beginning I lost and over time I learned NOT to jump quickly and make a larger gap between trades as suggested by KoF in his 1% Video's... It's like a lot of things, you learn from errors and eventually you learn to earn. The last two trading examples I screen printed show adding as and when to close all trades in profit.
Everyone learns differently.

Thanks for the response gringo... ok I think you have basically broken it down.... there's actually no proper way of of tackling this problem other than basically keep adding and hope it returns breakeven or in profit or just close at a lose whether or not your drawdown is big or small. I have actually traded this strategy for long enough to realize there is profit in the strategy but you can also lose all your profit eventually if you don't cut your loses. So my advice to anybody using this strategy is probably to stop adding and cut your loses as soon as it doesn't look like its going well or if your already 20% in drawdown because from my experience once it reaches to about that percentage in drawdown, its already indicated that you are in a strong trend that will make you blow your account if you continue to add positions.

Well I have the ema full strategy video and the 1% strategy video.....i have actually abandoned the ema on because like I explained... no matter how much profit you have gained on wins it only takes one large loss to rock your account. So i then bought KOF's 1% video which like you said is better odds gringo but with that one its whether your prepared to stay at your screen for hours and hours until a big win. But then again if your wanting to trade then sitting at your screen for hours is perfectly normal anyway do that isnt a major problem. The biggest problem and you've outlined this already is your spread and fees for each trade, with my broker there are no trading fees for trades on bitcoin but there is a spread there of course so if you are getting in and out of trades as it continuously hits the ema 200 then depending on how much you do this it can result in big loses if you add it up. gringo you showed that most of the time that the entry and exit spots are very close to one another so yes you don't lose many pips but the real loses are the spread costs and unfortunately these do add up if your entering and closing for about 10 times that can then amount to 30-50 pips before you finally get your longer trend. And again if you have say lost 50 pips already.. once i finally get my long trend i would close when ive recovered the loses or when its reached a small profit. If you wait till price reaches back to ema 200 before you exit it what could have been good profit turns merely into just a few pips. you can normally see this on the 1 minute chart that exiting before a long trend reaches back to the ema is the better option.

gringo do you have the template for this one please?.... from what I see here.... if we are using the 1% strategy why dont we just have that colour changing ema 200 on our charts and that's all we need. basically we can just sell when the ema is red and stay in until it turns blue. Or vice versa we can simply buy when the ema is blue and stay in until the ema turns red. simple right?
