I am just trying out some different settings on my EA.
I know these results do not predict the future.
I would like a good profit factor of 3 and a good recovery factor of +1.
Keep my margin levels above 100 and equity draw down above 50%.
Here is another result with 200 leverage.

What would you personally prefer?
I'm ok with 50% drawdown, as Buffet said "if your not ok with big drawdowns you will not make exceptional returns" ...

Outstanding results! Unnecessary leverage if you want to be alive in the long run, too much risk on that strategy if the Initial deposit was 500 EUR However if you can keep maintaining those results go for it, All the best with your transition to Live.

If you were able to maintain a profit factor above 1 then i dont see why not. you're way above that. the higher it is the less work youre doing to make money

if the win percentage you have of 70+ % matches the average RRR you'll be fine. high risk WILL have high draw down. how long have you had these results? more than a week? hour? month?

Did you really get all this in 99 trades??
Risk Management is of utmost importance!

Why are you using such high leverage?

I would never go more than 1:50, you set yourself up to have to keep in too much capital at risk, or it makes you have to do things, and miss opportunities due to margin limits.

Your drawdown being a perfect example of how quickly things can move against you.

Hi there,

Although you focused on the results it is more about how you trade. If you have any fix SL or is it just running as long as you can take. What might seem good in 99 trades may not come out as good over 9000 trades. So evaluation should be done may be in 12 months terms or longer. Otherwise 99 trades doesn't really mean much. It could be your lucky week/month or so etc. but consistency measured if you have a specific plan/ system that you apply with discipline (which we cannot see that here yet).

Overall speaking by the figures: drawdown is high indeed. High to those who might think of investing into this system. May be okay for you who trade for yourself where only your money is at stake. Such drawdown may also affect your psychology if you have real money at stake and you are planning to make a living out of this. So to be reasonable it is better if you test things to the amount you are planning to invest initially and try to keep a positive RR as well as try to do this with less volatility. If your DD is 35% and your monthly profit is 75% better to trade lot smaller sizes and instead bring 3,5% drawdown and 7,5% profit per month. It is very much overlooked by particularly new traders the risk factor. Everyone think of how quick they can get rich or double triple accounts within months. Many start up their journey with the dream of their short capital will increase and people will invest may be. But the truth is 35% drawdown is not bearable in any circumstances if things started to go ugly. You cannot recover such fall back if that happens end of month or close to your withdrawal date. However 3,5% drawdown can be handled /recovered over a certain period of time. So the idea should be not how much you are making but how much you are risking and if you are profitable over the average returns. Now if you think you can bring lot more than annual interest rate you are already good, given that you give the similar security comfort of a bank. Otherwise it is no different than gambling.

The conclusion is clear. It is early to say much about the results but by an investor point of view no freaking way I would invest into this figures. If I am trading with this manner than I make sure that the amount is not going to hurt me if I loose all of it from this experiment.

Lets see where you will take this over the long run. Good luck.
