High,
if you take a look at the code (just look for SHORT(Strong)) you'd see the logic. It's actually was described by Julius how to define the trend direction.
I agree you'd see Strong signal most of the time. When trend is changing you could see NONE or WEAK signal.
Regarding opening trades on STRONG signal. That's what I was going to talk about and that's what you deleted from EA.
Okay, those comments are actually movable. It's an attempt to make a GUI in MT4. He-he. Can you believe that? Just double click on "Move me" and drag it some where (doesn't matter where). This will override you business rules and would open trades when all columns say STRONG signal. For now actually it works "which condition comes first". So, if business rule condition is true earlier then trades will be triggered. We need to discuss if we need to do actual overriding. By the way if you move Close all positions it should close all your trades. I could make columns selectable, but it's more settings.

DislikedHey Orest,
I noticed the footer caption that displays SHORT or LONG always says STRONG. What makes it strong? And if it will always say STRONG, can we just remove the STRONG portion of the text?
Would it be possible to add a boolean option that will launch a basket trade when all of the footer captions read SHORT or LONG? If set to TRUE, it would need to override the trade triggers in the EA, then when all footer captions read SHORT, open a basket trade short, and if they are all LONG, open a basket trade LONG, assuming no current trade is open.
I...Ignored
