ianf0ster,
I suspect you haven't read the original thread. That makes me sad.
The pairs in the basket have nothing to do with IA. It doesn't matter whether you use demo IA or not the pairs are not random. They form almost perfect hedge (or basket) which we watch constantly. See, we don't beleive in RSI, MAs cross, BB and other crap here we worship that basket. We think that thread is defined when buy pairs and sell once go in separate directions like jets at airshow. Remove one currency from the basket and everything falls apart. It doesn't mean of course you have to always trade all pairs together, but you have to watch them together.

DislikedHi Orest,
Now that we (at least those using the indis and EAs) don't need the (almost) perfect hedgeing anymore - since we are not using an IA account.Has anybody given any thought as to the best (representative) basket of currencies to use.
I have hesitated in asking this, because there is already confusion between IBFX , non-IBFX pairs/groups and also that the non-IBFX groupings in the Orest indi are reversed from those orin=ginally published by T101.
But is seems to me that a representative basket should contain at least one pair containing each of the following currencies:
USD,EUR,JPY,GBP,CHF,CAD,AUD and NZD.
