EA Primer anyone?

I've been teaching myself coding for the last few months, have writing custom indicators down pretty good. At least enough to get what I need but i'm wanting to write ea's that operate purely on my custom indicator.

Thing is I know precisely nothing about writing an Expert Advisor, anyone show me to a primer? or a blank template where the buy/sell orders are triggered by a custom indicator so I can just replace the necessary parts?

The link provided by smjones is very good information for sure but if you're completly new and just want a taster check out the link in my sig. It's a basic primer for non-programmers so it might help.

Hah, all my coding I sorta learned from having the code for me and then working my way backwards. Examples work better for me than from scratch but thanks anyway for the suggestions guys. Will do waht I can
